We offer small group visit days to our nursery, consultation and training days to other settings keen to develop their Reggio Inspired pedagogy. On a consultation day, our Head of Children and Adult’s Learning will spend time gathering information from you before she visits your setting or school to find out how you want to develop your practice. She can then spend one, two or more days in your setting observing practice and giving practical advise on how to take next steps to develop plans, training systems and practice in dialogue with the management team. The consultation includes a full written report of her time including the steps you want to take going forward. This can be followed up later if you wish to create an ongoing consultancy relationship.
We also offer group in house development days at your setting. Our Director comes armed with piles of materials, documentation examples and the full days group training features group work, hands on activities and presentations to inspire and activate new ideas in your team.
Visit days to our setting are a chance for small groups to see our Reggio Inspired Nursery in practice. They are held on weekdays with staff and children present and feature tours of the Nursery and Farm School in Horsham, time to observe in places of particular interest (such as in the Ateliers with the Artists at work with children or the Farm School), a buffet lunch and pedagogical discussion time for exploring questions and reflections with our key pedagogues, and a presentation of long term project work in the afternoon.
